Stakeholder Reporting: new organisational structure
Stakeholder Reporting becomes a one-stop provider of CR services
The CR consultancy Stakeholder Reporting presents itself as a corporate group with a new website and with two new companies, CIMS Compliance & Integrity Management Solutions GmbH and SAG Sustainability-Accounting GmbH. These complement the existing business areas of Strategy, Dialogue and Reporting with Compliance and CR Accounting expertise. Stakeholder Reporting now becomes a group of companies.
Early on, Stakeholder Reporting realised the importance of strategic CR consultancy for its clients and placed this at the heart of its service spectrum. Summarising his experience of many years in CR communication, Stakeholder Reporting’s CEO Michael Winter says “Consultancy has always been part of our daily business. One of our core services is the creation of CR organisational and reporting structures within a company. Another is the development of CR objectives, in the form of programmes or roadmaps. These serve to sharpen our client’s communications profile, as well as to define the management goal of integrating this topic in high-level decision-making processes. What’s more, since our formation we have successfully implemented numerous trust-based dialogues with our clients’ stakeholders. That’s why we have pursued an integrated consultancy approach for years, so that our clients can benefit from our expertise in different areas.”
In order to offer its clients complete solutions relating to CR, Stakeholder Reporting has widened its activities from the existing business areas of Strategy, Reporting and Dialogue, to include further areas of competence. This is backed up by the company’s experience that successful and credible CR communication relies on appropriate business key-figure systems, meaning that the value of management consultancy becomes more easily measurable for clients. In addition, the fields of corporate Integrity and Compliance are becoming an ever more integral part of CR communication, with the result that systematic management and expert consultancy are needed here, too.
With the formation of Sustainability Accounting and CIM Solutions, Stakeholder Reporting responds to this development. “We’re proud”, emphasises Winter, “that with Dr Uta Müller at Sustainability Accounting and Professor Stefan Behringer at CIM Solutions, we are now augmenting our leading expertise in strategy, dialogue and reporting with two further leading consultants in their fields.”
CIM Solutions – pragmatic and client-driven
CIM Solutions GmbH’s consultancy focus is on providing solutions in the area of conformance of corporate action with applicable laws (Compliance), voluntary commitments (Integrity) and the management of both. These services are tailored to the individual client company and take into account the latest status of legislation and current trends. Stefan Behringer, CIM Solutions’ co-founder, is Professor of Business Studies at the Euro Business College, University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg, and the author of numerous publications in the fields of compliance, controlling and accountancy. Until the end of 2008, he was Chief Compliance Officer at the Olympus Europa Group.
Sustainability Accounting – CO2 as an environmental key figure
The consultancy focus of SAG Sustainability-Accounting GmbH is on the areas of Controlling, Performance Management and Organisational Development. Its senior consultant, Dr. Uta Müller, advises companies in the development of sustainable organisational structures and supports them in the implementation of goal systems and processes for the evaluation and management of their climate and environmental performance. Another consultancy focus is Carbon Risk Management. Dr. Müller is a fully qualified Economist and former Chairwoman of the Process Controlling Forum run by the International Association of Controllers; she brings with her extensive experience in the areas of Ecological Accountability, CO2 footprints and Carbon Management. She worked with SAP SI on material flow optimisation models, has advised companies for many years on production and logistics controlling issues as well as on the re-design of their business processes, and teaches MBA students in Systemic Organisational Development and Consultancy.
